Hunger (2008) Artist & debut director Steve McQueen’s fastidious, even handed, brilliantly staged/shot depiction of institutional degradation & one man’s self annihilation for a cause. Michael Fassbender’s remarkably committed central performance lingers long in the memory. Highly Recommended.
